Tipton’s Story

Here at Tipton’s, we pride ourselves on the use of the finest ingredients to cook our award winning BBQ. We heavy smoke our meats at optimum time and temperature. We only use the whole shoulder, from ancient breed Duroc pigs, for our pork. Our chicken and turkey is humanely raised here in North Carolina. Brisket is smoked in the texas tradition of post oak and lots of smoke. Our use of select Hickory and Fruit wood give our barbecue its unique flavor. In the true Lexington Style, we serve our shoulder simply, with our secret “Dip” poured over it. Our smoked chicken and turkey add healthy options. Add one of our table sauces if you need to, Regular sauce, sweet and smokey, or our eastern base Tips Vin. Sides are made fresh in house.
